Nissho Iwai (Sojitz) is the exclusive agent for Boeing Commercial Airplane Group in Japan. Consulting assignments have included companies such as IHI, Hitachi Zosen, Philippine Airlines, Hyundai, Lotte, Daewoo, China National Petroleum and China Oil and Foods. We have experience in Japan, China, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore.

Our expertise is commercializing or licensing intellectual property, high tech and biotech products, and medical devices. We have experience in such diverse industries as: ethanol production, carbon fiber for seismic retrofit, access control, IT, laser measuring devices, and aerospace components.

We are located near Seattle, Washington with outstanding facilities at the Port of Seattle, Port of Tacoma, and the Port of Portland. The Pacific Northwest region is home to numerous multi-national corporations such as: Boeing Commercial Airplane Company, Microsoft, Starbucks, Weyerhaeuser, Costco, Nordstrom, and Amazon. The region is particularly well known as a key biotech area because of research at the University of Washington as well as the Fred Hutchison Cancer Research Center, Institute for Systems Biology, and numerous emerging genetics and biopharmaceutical research companies in the region like Immunex, Icos, and Corixa.
